No. 9 Market Square was established in 2024 by Owner & Chef Brian McMonagle. With over a quarter of a century of cooking in the industry, Brian has taken the bull by the horns and opened his very own eatery in the heart of his hometown of Letterkenny. His experience of cooking in some of the most esteemed restaurants has lead him to this exciting milestone. Local produce and supporting the best producers Donegal has to offer will be one of the focal points of this striking new addition to Donegal's growing food scene.

Dexter Beef
Bluestack Farm
Our steaks come from Bluestack Farm, a family-run farm here in Donegal. They rear premium Dexter cattle to produce their signature Dexter Beef, which I am proud to serve in my restaurant.
